The annual conference put on by the
Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards was held May 13th
and 14th at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center.
This year, we were proud to be able
to send 25 staff members!
The annual conference always
presents an excellent opportunity to get fresh perspectives on some of
the hot button topics concerning mental health and substance abuse
service provision from the 60 different workshops and over 900 attendees
from around the state. (It also presents a great opportunity to get
those much needed CEU’s!)
This year, our very own Dr. Anne
Penney, Sharlene McDaniel, Sandra Moncrief, and Selena Sanford presented
on the Nurse Delegation Program. Special thanks to Red Lobster, J&M
Bookstore and TigerRags in Auburn for providing some great door prizes
to be awarded at the reception on Wednesday Evening. |
