East Alabama Mental Health Center has begun operation of an outpatient
adolescent substance abuse treatment program for youth who are diagnosed
with substance abuse problems or dependency and who meet ASAM criteria
for Level I or Level II treatment.
Services are designed to assist youth and their families in recovering
from the disabling effects of substance abuse while promoting healthy
alcohol and drug free lifestyles through maximizing individual and
family strengths and skills for coping with situational stressors.
